Nekoliska D. Hajek

I am the principal of Terra Schola, with a background in both criminal justice and education.

I earned my degree in Criminal Justice and began my career working in law enforcement and probation. In that role, I worked closely with individuals and families facing real-life challenges, which gave me a strong understanding of how early support, guidance, and education can shape a child’s future.

This experience led me to transition into education, where I became a Certified 7th Grade English Language Arts teacher. In the classroom, I worked with a wide range of learners, focusing on building strong reading, writing, and critical thinking skills while creating a supportive and structured environment for students to grow.

Through my time in education, I saw both what works well for students and where traditional systems can fall short. I recognized the need for an approach that not only focuses on academic success, but also supports each child as an individual.

Terra Schola was created with that purpose in mind.

As principal, I am committed to providing a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment where students are supported, challenged, and encouraged to think deeply. My goal is to ensure that every student receives a meaningful education that builds confidence, curiosity, and the skills they need for the future.
